President Draupadi Murmu Will Give National Child Award To 11 Children Prime Minister Modi Will Also Meet The Winners


President Droupadi Murmu: President Draupadi Murmu Prime Minister’s Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2023 will be given to 11 children of the country for their extraordinary achievements on Monday. Whereas, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi PMRBP will interact with the winners on Tuesday. According to an official statement, Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani will also interact and congratulate the winning children in the presence of Minister of State for Women and Child Development Munjpara Mahendrabhai.

The children who received the Rashtrapati Bal Puraskar include six boys and five girls from 11 states and union territories. Each winner will be given a medal, a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a certificate. According to the statement, this year four Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskars will be given for exceptional achievement in the field of art and culture, one for bravery, two for innovation, one for social service and three in the field of sports.

Why is this award given?

Let us tell you that the Central Government gives PMRBP award to the children for their extraordinary achievements. This award is given to children in the age group of five to 18 years for their exceptional achievements in the field of art and culture, bravery, innovation, education, social service and sports, which are worthy of recognition at the national level.

1 lakh cash prize

Significantly, each award winner will be given a medal, a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a certificate. The award is given to children in the age group of 5-18 years for their excellence in art and culture, bravery, innovation, education, social service and sports, who deserve national recognition. Last year 29 children were honored with this award.
